Corey's mom had a birthday this past weekend & it was celebrated in style with a surprise party. Dad requested tribute letters telling how much Mom means to us rather than gifts. We decided to make a mini-album for her with some pics from different family events this past year and let her know just how much we have learned from her. I tucked the journaling tags of the things we have learned behind the photos. Corey & I did 6 of them, and let the kids each do one to make it an even 10. I apologize for the poor quality of the pics. You'd think I'd have learned by now to take the pics UPSTAIRS where there is decent light rather than in the basement. I really need to get a light box built!
Supplies used: Maya Road Acrylic Album, CTMH Floral Tapestry Paper Pack, Journaling Jots Stamp Set (for the tags behind the pics), Typewriter Alpha, Making Memories Brads, Circle Window Charms & Glitter, Garden Green CS & Ink, Orchid Bouquet CS & Ink, Colonial White CS, Lilac Mist CS & Ink, Coluzzle used for the tags. Scalloped edges created using the Fiskars Threading Water Punch.
Here is the matching box I made for the album to go inside of. Box purchased at Robert's & the edges painted with CTMH Create-a-Shade Pearl Paint before adhering paper. Font used are from the "Handwritten" fonts cd from Autumn Leaves.
