Cute Baby Cards

I can't take credit for coming up with these darling cards. I've been wanting to make some for quite a while now and finally decided they would be an excellent item to put in the upcoming Spring Craft Show I am participating in. A big thank you to Deneen Treble who posted the template for the overalls on the CTMH Consultant Bulletin Board. I got the dress template here. All papers used are from CTMH. Stamp sets used are Spring Possibilities (retired), Reach for the Stars, and Fun Times.

More Use It Up Artwork

Here is another mini-album for the upcoming craft show. I had a retired "Number One Dad" My Reflections Kit gathering dust and decided to see what I could do with it. Not only did I manage to get a nice little album out of it, but a couple of cards as well. Enjoy!

February Use It Up Challenge

Well now that it is the last week of February, I finally have some Use It Up Challenge artwork to post. I posted the challenge on the consultant bulletin board and have gotten a few participants. This month we worked out of the Summer 2006 Idea Book. Here is a chipboard Disney Album I completed using the remains of a Giggles & Grins Level 2 Paper Pack and Stickease. I will be selling this in the upcoming craft show I am participating in. Enjoy!

I also had enough scraps leftover to make a card as well. I used the Checklist Stamp Set, Cranberry Ink, ribbon from The Ribbon Retreat, MM Love Notes Pin, Fiskars Threading Water Border Punch, Prima Flowers, and a self stick sparkle from Michael's.

Mojo Monday Week 75 plus a few extra...

Well I was actually able to get the Mojo Monday sketch done & on a Monday no less! It has been a really crazy two weeks and I am glad that my schedule is getting somewhat back to normal. Well if you can call a craft show in 18 days, running one daughter to gymnastics and another to volleyball, and the third daughter informing me that track practices start this week normal. Nevermind the list of dr's appointments, church obligations, laundry, dishes, cooking, time with my family & attempting to be sociable with my friends. Yikes! I'm not sure how I manage to keep going. LOL

Anyways, here is my card for this week's sketch.

Supplies used: Unforgettable Level 2 Paper Pack, Juniper & Colonial White Cardstocks, Cocoa, Blush, and Sorbet Exclusive Inks. Aspiration Stamp Set, Self stick Pearls from Michael's, Fiskars Threading Water Border Punch.

Here are a few cards I made using previous sketches. Weeks 74, 73, and 70 to be exact. I'm short on time, so I'm not going to list supplies used, but feel free to leave a comment with any questions and I'll be glad to answer them. Thanks for looking!

What a week it has been!

I apologize to everyone expecting artwork. It has been one of those weeks! I am sure most of you can relate at some level or another. :) I started a new medication the week before last and I think I am finally getting all the kinks (side effects) worked out with it. I have felt overwhelmed and have been fighting a serious case of declining mojo. I was all set to get up and get right to work in my scraproom this morning only to get a phone call with bad news. My ex-mother-in-law, Beth, who is very dear to me passed away this morning after a very long and courageous battle with cancer. I will miss her dearly. She has been a part of my life since I was 15 years old and taught me many things that my own mother didn't or couldn't. She was loving, smart, funny, and had a no-nonsense/common sense way about her. I knew I could always call on her for advice or help when I needed it. Even though my marriage to her son did not work out, because of her I am a better wife, mother, and person. I hope I can be as good as her when I "grow up". Here's to you Mom - I love you and will miss you very much!

P.S. I have a craft show next month that I REALLY need to start preparing for. So stay tuned for more artwork next week after we are back from the funeral.

Mojo Monday Sketch - Week 72

I've only recently discovered the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenges and I must say I am quite addicted! Not only are the sketches fun & somewhat challenging, they really make me think - sometimes completely out of the box. They do also make it easy to put a card together quickly. I think it took me more time to decide which stamp set to use than it did to make the card. Hmmm, I wonder if that means I have too many stamps sets? Nah, I don't think there is any such thing as too many - especially since each of my 150+ stamp sets have seen ink at least once! I have to "justify" them to DH somehow, right? ;) Enough babbling - here's what I created for the Mojo Monday Sketch this week. Enjoy! Supplies Used: Treasure Life Stamp Set, Level 2 Unforgettable Paper Pack, Colonial White & Blush Cardstocks, Cocoa, Blush, Juniper, Sorbet, & Versamark Inks, Clear Embossing Powder, Bazzill Wings Flower, Dark Coral Ribbon from The Ribbon Retreat, CTMH Clear Sparkles, Fiskars Threading Water Punch, Mini-Monograms Cricut Cartridge.

Daydream Mini-Album

I taught a workshop on this last Friday to 4 beautiful young ladies for a birthday party. Boy was it fun! Thanks Kim for the opportunity. This is the same basic layout as my Ms. On the Go Album I posted yesterday - just jazzed up a little bit more and in a binder rather than using binder rings & ribbon. Supplies used: Bo Bunny Chipboard Album, Daydream Level 2 Paper Pack, Creme Brulee, Lilac Mist, Sweet Leaf, & Blush Cardstocks & Inks, Ms. On the Go, Dream Team, Youthful at Heart, & Journaling Jots Stamp Sets, Making Memories Brads & Love Notes Shaped Pins, Ribbon from LSS, Prima Flowers, Sugar Coating Glitter, Stickles (brushed onto front cover), George & Basic Shapes Cricut Cartridge used to cut out the tags & flowers on page 3.
