Blog Candy!!!!!

I've wanted to do some blog candy for quite a while now and I think I've found the perfect thing to give away. :)

Photobucket

I crocheted each of these flowers using a pattern I found on an SCS thread. They are super easy to make and so fun to use on cards and pages. The smaller flowers started out white and I used re-inkers mixed with alcohol to dye them. I used Tulip, Petal, Ocean, and Buttercup. I placed oversized brads from Making Memories in the center of the larger flowers and a button in the center of one of them.

Soooooo, here's what you need to do to have a chance to win...... Leave me a comment telling me what your favorite organizational tip is for your scrap space. I'll draw a winner on Wednesday May 5th. Good luck!

my favorite organizational scrap tip? Pack it all up, and don't use it for months. Then you have to dig thru EVERYTHING you own just to find the right stuff to make that card, because even though you stopped scrapping almost a year ago, you can't part with any of it! Then you leave it all out of it's organization all over the desk, bed and shelves you had just because you feel so guilty because of all the money you spent in the first place! LOL

What cute little flowers! Here is my tip. When I am making cards, I like to keep a large plastic tub at hand so I can throw the scraps, large and small in it as I craft. That way I avoid paper all over the place and can find matching pieces easily. When I am finished for the session, I sort through the paper and put it in the designated paper file of the same color.

My organizational tip is to have a separate scrapbook for each holiday/occasion. Example, summer, easter, birthday, Christmas/Winter, etc. This has helped me tremendously so I can see what I have scrapbooked thus far (I am not a sequential scrapbooker at all!) thanks for the chance to win

These are so cute!! My tip is to use the ribbon holders that stampin up sells for my stampin up ribbon and a wooden ribbon rack I bought on ebay for everything else on rolls. I use a lot of clear boxes too so I can see what is in them.

Oooh, so envious of those of you who can crochet! I LOVE LOVE LOVE those little flowers & have aspirations of trying to make them some day!

I used to keep everything packaged or marked with the product name so that I could make up a recipe of products if needed but have found that keeping my embellishments sorted by color is much more productive for me. It has reduced the amount of extra packaging and looks so pretty in ROYGBIV order. Makes me HAPPY!

These are precious! I can Knit... but I dont crochet very well. My fave tip? I keep my copic markers in the thingies that you put silverware in for picnics. Then I can carry them from room to room or event to event with the handy handle!!!

I always seemed to run out of flat surfaces in my craftroom so one day while I was leaning back in my chair, I wondered how I could gain extra space and the answer became clear....hang stuff up! I bought shelves from HD and had DH hang them. I ran a curtain rod from the bottom and that became my ribbon spool holder. Now, the majority of my ribbon is just above my head within reach when I need them and I was able to empty a tub that had to take up space on the table.

I SO LOVE these little flowers!! I would use these right away for teachers Cards I'm going to be making!! I love the colors you used too!!
My organization tip: Start folder for each color and when making cards or scrapping, put your little pieces in labeled folder so you can just go and pull out little but you might need. Also use CLEAR BINS so you can see things.
One thing I'm going to be doing is putting up either dowel rods or something to show my punches, as I'm sick of buying duplicates!!
Thanks for opportunity and hope you pull my name!!
